HARDWOOD ACADEMY is a non-profit organization 501c. Our desire and passion to train and develop girls and boys who wish to learn and play the game of basketball on a competitive level. Our goal is to provide a positive atmosphere with excellent coaching and high levels of competition for local middle and high school athletes looking to improve their skills while emphasizing the importance of education. Ultimately providing an opportunity for those girls and boys who desire to compete at a college level. Hardwood Academy basketball program has players ranging from 5-15 years of age, who are committed to prepare themselves at a highly competitive level in basketball. In addition to dedicated training, our program provides an environment that promotes teaching life lessons through basketball, while continuing to promote individual confidence, self esteem and leadership skills.As we strive to provide an environment of learning proper skills to become effective basketball players, our expenses can be costly. Expenses are gym time, training, tournament fees, uniforms, hotels, transportation, training equipment, etc. The average expense per player can reach $1500. Without the help of parents, fundraisers, community and business support, some players would be excluded from participating in the sport they love.
